Akinyemi has over 25 years of distinguished international experience spanning Africa and the United States, with a career built on a rare combination of deep technical expertise and outstanding commercial acumen. His professional journey has taken him across Nigeria, Ghana, and the United States, where he has consistently delivered outstanding results in business development, account management, and strategic sales leadership.

Prior to joining AOS Orwell, he served as Business Development Manager for Integrated Well Construction and Asset Performance at SLB (Schlumberger) across Nigeria and West Africa, Mr. Akinyemi has a proven track record of securing high-value contracts, growing market share, and managing complex, multi-disciplinary portfolios in demanding environments. Over his career at SLB, he demonstrated exceptional capability in tender management, contract negotiations, client relationship management, and team leadership and overseeing large high-performing teams.

He is a CFA Charter holder and a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI), Institute of Credit Administration (FICA), and a CGMA/ACMA of CIMA (UK), among other professional affiliations.

He holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos. He is a member of several prestigious professional bodies, including the Institute of Sales Professionals (ISP), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and holds a Level 3 Sales Diploma in Sales Professionalism.
