Adebayo is a distinguished finance executive and strategic leader with over 18 years of progressive experience spanning banking, professional services, oil & gas, energy, power, and infrastructure sectors.

He holds a Doctorate in Finance, an MBA, and a BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Science (Second Class Upper), complemented by multiple postgraduate qualifications in Data Science, Transfer Pricing, and Sustainable Finance from globally renowned institutions including the University of Oxford, Harvard University, Columbia Business School, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Texas at Austin.

He is a CFA Charter holder and a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM), as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCTI), Institute of Credit Administration (FICA), and a CGMA/ACMA of CIMA (UK), among other professional affiliations.

Mr. Adebayo has served in senior leadership roles including General Manager, Group Finance and Group Head, Tax, Transfer Pricing & Financial Controls at Sahara Group, and Chief Finance Officer at RAK Unity Petroleum Plc. In these capacities, he provided strategic oversight for corporate finance, capital structuring, tax optimization, financial controls, procurement strategy, regulatory compliance, and enterprise risk management across multiple jurisdictions. His leadership has consistently driven financial turnaround initiatives, strengthened governance frameworks, enhanced cost optimization, and improved stakeholder confidence.

Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Consultant with Deloitte, where he led IFRS implementation and advisory engagements across diverse industries, and held key control and relationship management roles within Intercontinental Bank Plc.

In 2026, Adebayo joined AOS Orwell as the Director of Finance.
