Tuesday, 8th March, 2022, was a very special day for us at AOS Orwell Ltd as we hosted our inaugural annual International Women’s Day Virtual event.

The virtual event saw an impressive turnout of participants both within and outside the confines of the organization. Our esteemed panelists did not leave any stone unturned while discussing this year’s theme- #BreakTheBias.

The discussion served as a stark reminder that the fight for women’s rights is not yet over. However, it also highlighted the laudable efforts that have been put into making a gender equal world a reality. The impact of the deep conversation had and will forever be embedded in the memories of both panelists and participants alike.

It is worth mentioning that the panelists were able to throw more light on women’s rights in the workplace and what they are doing in their own capacity to promote a #genderequal and friendly work environment and deliberate efforts as leaders in their various fields in dropping ladders for future female leaders in their chosen fields.
